The free earnings would be great, but I wouldn't want to give up the cleanliness of my blogs, sustained by effort and passion, for a few dollars. These blogs started as attempts to let my voice reach people—this simple, honest intention deserves to remain pristine.
And the other thing is that with my writing right now, I don't intend to rake in any moolah; the idea to improve enough before I feel ready to launch my writing into the commercial space.
